Software and Controls

ST3's Software and Control designs include advanced capabilities which enhance precision in the manufacturing process while simplifying operator involvement. The software is compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 ensuring appropriate multi-level user access and electronic records handling.  The software runs on a touch screen computer and features a simplified user interface. User-defined stimulation parameters are controlled by the software and readily monitored across multiple stimulation systems. Sensors for important process parameters are used for monitoring and control, and real-time control algorithms ensure that the system is doing what it is supposed to do.

Control capabilities include: programmable control mode switching, amplitude control with correction when a limit is tripped, and if/then commands critical for tissue culture protocols. Email/text alerts can also be sent to operators based on predetermined event triggers.  While the process is running, integrated data acquisition captures and records the parameters at prescribed intervals, which provides process traceability for GMP purposes.

Our software and control systems are scalable. We can run one bioreactor or multiple bioreactors from the same input screen. The number of systems controlled is dependent upon the layout of facility and ergonomic objectives you are trying to achieve.
